Thinking clearer

So my working week is over, it hasn’t been a bad week. Testing? Yes, but nobody said it was going to be easy.
Well if it was it would soon lose its appeal and become another chore.

I started this thing recently where at the end of each day I like to write down what went well and what not so well. How I handled certain situations and what could have been done differently. Kind of like a stop, start, continue exercise.

I have been doing this for a few weeks now and have found that it’s making my thinking clearer. Sounds silly but I think it has.

This was all part of my new years resolution to myself. Get physically fitter, get mentally fitter and become more in tune with myself. Looking at myself from the outside, see what I can improve.

For the rest of today and tomorrow though I’m going to enjoy the copa mundial, the weather and recharge my batteries.

Have a great weekend and let me know your thoughts on my exercise or anything else.

Stay hungry

Progress is NOT impossible if you put your mind to it

“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”

George Bernard Shaw

The best piece of advice I have heard in ages. Everyone has an opportunity to progress if they change their perspective once in a while.

Take a step outside themselves and look at a few things like

A: Things that are not working and need to stop.

B: Things that they can replace (A) with, try a new approach

C: Things that are going well and that they must continue with

Be honest now, its your list, don’t be cheating yourself.
