Some Thursday Motivation

“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”

Marcus Aurelius

It’s amazing how you set your entire day up (either to succeed or to fail) by the attitude you bring to it each day.

I’m not going to suggest we don’t have bad days, I have my fair share like anyone, but I do know what a difference it makes when I bring a positive attitude, an attitude of gratitude to it.

As bad as some of our days are going to get, chances are they’re still better than a lot of people’s best days; anytime I’m struggling to see the good in a day all I have to do is focus on those who fought in wars so I can live in freedom today, not just giving up their lives but also their dreams, or people living in a disaster area where surviving that day is a good day,  that quickly gets me back on track.

Realize that you are presented with the most amazing gift each morning, a day to use however you choose to use it, to create dreams, to live, to love and to become the biggest and best version of yourself you possibly can.

Ask yourself today, ‘How might spending a few minutes each morning focusing on everything I’m grateful for in my life completely transform the outcome of my day?’

Have a great day!! Let me know how it was for you!

  1. You are right when you say that a day is defined by the attitude you bring to it when you get up. However, what do you do if you wake up tired and get more exhausted through the day? In such cases any positivity or motivation won’t make much difference, so what do you recommend? Obviously if it’s a heath issue then a trip to the doctor is necessary – but some days everyone is tired for no reason.
